Review:

In terms of price, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) falls well below Apple’s cheapest tablet.

For Android lovers, it makes a good deal as long as they are ready to comprise over a few obvious features. From the security side, there is no fingerprint, no face lock, as well packed with only one speaker at its bottom.

For reading, writing, and watching binge on Netflix really pays off the bill.

And to run some demanding games you will have the graphic to a minimum to have a smooth gaming experience.

The battery’s life is standard and can keep you entertained for 8-10 hours on one charge.

Performance:

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is powered by an Exynos 7904 processor that Samsung used in older smartphones and tablets.

Limiting to the price, the CPU’s performance is good, the only compromise will be to makeover its graphics which are not stunning at all as Samsung tends to focus at that point.

Again, par the price point and when compared to others on the market- graphics seems well.

Secondly, the RAM is only 2GB, you can buy one with a 3GB RAM just need to spend a few more bucks.

As a whole, the raw CPU chipset alone is able to carry loads of multiple apps,

To jump between apps might seem clunky, and sometimes an app will take some time to run after being reloaded from scratch.

Connectivity:

Samsung Galaxy tab 2019 offers standard connectivity, USB Type-C, a slot for MicroSD, and a headphone jack.

Best for:

We consider this a good model at an affordable price.

Despite the fact that there are much better tablets available today, it has some good features and does the job quite well.

You can browse the web, read e-books, watch movies, and everything you would like to do to spare some time using a device.

Review:

If you’re looking for a cheap but don’t want to purchase a device less than 4 GB of RAM. If so, then putting money on it is the best bet you could make.

Lightweight and sleek, its design is well suited for its price, and upgradable to Android 10 would allow you to run the newest apps.

For toddlers (under 3), I would not recommend this display size if you’re considering getting one for them.

However, there is no question that the lithium-ion battery can run for hours on a single charge, making it an excellent device for reading-

Performance:

We really enjoyed this tablet’s performance. Superfast speed, bright 10.1 display that is also vibrant provides a stunning movie-watching experience.

Since it has 4GB RAM you wouldn’t find any trouble while performing multitasking- the processor it ships with is impressive which is from MediaTek, allowing it to run at maximum pace in a long run without getting heated.

With the dual speakers with Dolby sound quality, there are three audio modes to choose from.

All modes can deliver a room-filling sound, the listening experience is really good.

Lenovo’s tablet features an 8 megapixel camera on the back cover and a 5-megapixel camera on the top bezel which is fitted ideally to make video calling more effective.

Quality is also great for the price.

Many high-end games like Pubg mobile would not run well with high graphics or at 60 frames per second.

However, these games can be played at minimum settings with enough graphics to stay competitive.

Connectivity:

There are three ports attached to this tablet, a USB TYPE-C port for charging, which is a great and moderate port coming in newer devices.

Plus, a headphone jack, and slot for putting a micro SD card up to 512 GB- just in case the available 64 GB feels insufficient to your needs.

Best for:

Other than playing high-end games, you can use it for various tasks like checking emails, surfing on the web, reading Mangas, kindle books, pdf add to these, you can ever use a Bluetooth keyboard for writing.

To some extent, this tablet can be used for making presentations as well.

Review:

The following tablet is from the Lenovo tab series which they marketed as family tablets.

Offer features to allow parents to take more control over their kids’ activities, thanks to its built-in child mode which restricts functions to child-mode only.

Since it’s very cheap, it’s not feasible to compare it to others but to see what it offers instead.

Performance:

If we go ahead with the performance and the money. It’s understandable the tablet lacks many modern features.

Moving further- it ships with 2GB of RAM that runs along with the 2Ghz processor.

It doesn’t seem a good combination but still many apps will run just fine. Storage capacity is not huge which is only 16 GB, in free units you get around 7.3 GB to store your files.

If you want to override it, there is an option to add a microSD card.

In spite of the fact that it lacks plenty of features, it delivers a fine resolution thanks to its support for 1280 × 800p pixels.

It has great audio quality with the support of Dolby gives a realistic room-filling sound.

Cameras are just good, not well. When video calling it lacks brightness so you will have to adjust a brighter space.

But actually, it doesn’t matter at all. You can use an app that can increase brightness.

Moreover, an added benefit is you get Alexa built-in in this tablet.

Connectivity:

The connectivity side is just fine, a slot for a microSD card, headphone jack, and a USB-C Type port for charging.

Best for:

During our test we really came to know why this tablet features itself as a family tablet. Which, as per our limit of thinking, is good for parents. Also for reading it’s comfortable to hold for hours thanks to its rubber cover that soaks up sweat to reduce risk of slipping it off hands.

  • Resolution: 1920 x 1200
  • Camera: Rear 8mp, Front 5mp.
  • Display size: 10.1-inch
  • OS: ‎Android
  • Price: $240

Pros-

  • Solid screen.
  • Rich audio.
  • Long battery life.
  • Comes with a stylus.
  • Good build quality.

Cons-

  • Middling specs.
  • Poor cameras.
  • Runs Android 8.0 with no chance of an update.

Review:

Its 10.1-inch display is framed by chunky edges, on the top one, there is a 8MP fit at the right place. Providing a good video calling experience, and at the frame-bottom’s edge, you will see a fingerprint sensor.

Sound and Display quality are a big plus, speakers deliver a room-filling sound experience. And watching movies at resolution the tablet offers (1,920-by-1,200) will give you a really enjoyable watching-experience. However, compared to its rival entry-level ipad which is a little expensive the display quality does not match. But talking about battery, it beats its rival by running up to 9 hours on one charge.

Performance:

MediaPad M5 lite powers an average processor which is 659 octa-core, combined with a 3GB of RAM it delivers sufficient power to run multiple apps, even some demanding games run just fine. You will hardly see tablets getting bogged down unless you know what it’s made for after all.

By default storage is 32GB, for use you get around 20GB which is not that bad at all. You can expand it to 256 GB thanks to its support for a microSD slot.

Connectivity:

On the connectivity side, Huawei MediaPad offers a port for headphone, a slot for microSD, and Type-C USB port. In addition to its 2048-layer pressure sensitivity, the HUAWEI M-Pen lite Stylus also offers full responsiveness, making it an excellent tool for taking notes and writing memos.:

Best for:

Huawei MediaPad is one the best tablets that comes in the price range for many. You can use this tablet as your go-to tablet if you’ve to travel a lot, or want something to take note of as well. It really is worth it if you keep it for enjoying multimedia.

  • Camera’s quality could be better.

Review:

The Samsung tab a7 is a great example of how a cheap entertaining tablet should be made. It’s a serious rival of the entry-level iPad even beats it in many ways such as it has a more powerful CPU, plus long-lasting battery life. Many apps will run just fine as long as you don’t force it to go out of shatter. Its performance is just fine.

Performance:

With a mid-range processor and 3GB of RAM, the device offers everything one needs for entertaining purposes.

The specs it’s packed are somewhat outdated nowadays, many games would not operate. Nevertheless, the performance of running multiple apps compared to others at the same price point is excellent.

Connectivity:

The Samsung Tab a7 includes two ports in its body, one headphone jack and a charging USB Type-C port. For the micro sd slot, there is no slot.

Best for:

The device can be a good choice for people looking for something compatible enough to run demanding games as well as reading and watching movies.

The performance is quite solid as per the price point. It also includes a pen so you can draw creative things and if you like to take notes on it, it can be used for that purpose.

G PAD 5 10.1IN 32GB 4G LTE BLK Unlock, LM-T600QSCCAS

Specification-

  • Processor: 1.8 GHz
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Storage: 32 GB
  • Battery-life: 12 hours.
  • Resolution: 1920 x 1200
  • Camera: 8 Pixels
  • Display size: 10.1 LED
  • OS: Android 9.1 pie
  • Current price: $199.9

Pros-

  • Supports T-Mobile LTE
  • Long battery life

Cons-

  • Lackluster performance
  • Poor front-facing camera

Review:

The tablet’s design looks good and has rounded-corners- not very attractive, at all. With a screen resolution of 1920 by 12,00, the overall display performs quite well.

Performance:

Even with a 4 GB RAM, the Snapdragon 821 processor used on the tablet from 2016 does not deliver outstanding performance. Like the number we see here 4GB ram, we expected it to perform better than others at the same level. In fact, there are better alternatives around, Samsung a50 has the same price point yet more powerful features.

Or if you can go out of the android OS then here is an ipad model at price of $350 just need to add $50 to what the LG Gpad 5 costs you.

The battery-life of this device is amazing, it has 8200 mAh capacity that runs 9-hours while keeping brightness level to  full bar. That can even last longer by decreasing the brightness level.

Connectivity:

G Pad 5 tablet includes a headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and slot for a sim and a microSD card.

Best for:

While it cost a few bucks more than other products on our list, it’s not bad in any way, but we expected its performance to be higher than its competitors to justify the additional cost. Here, the only difference is that it has a good battery life and supports pens, which makes it ideal for people who read a lot.

Amazon Fire HD 10 – Best Tablet Under 200$

Specifications-

  • Processor: Octa-core 2.0 GHz
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 32GB- 64GB
  • Battery-life: 12 hours
  • Resolution: 1920 x 1200
  • Camera: 2 MP front-facing and 5MP rear-facing cameras
  • Display size: 10.1”
  • OS: Fire OS, much similar to android 9.
  • Price: $180

Pros-

  • Cheap.
  • Sharp display for reading.
  • Good performance.
  • Easy-to-use and Alexa integration.
  • Dual-band Wi-Fi.

Cons-

  • Not an Android.
  • Low-resolution cameras.

Review:

Compared to the 8in Fire HD 8, the new 10in Fire HD 10 is slimmer and more rounded, as well as 36g lighter in weight than its previous models- slightly increased comfort in holding it for hours.

Its screen is well made for the money, thick with colors that match Netflix shows in very fine detail. Speakers are mounted on the top-edge layer of the device, which produce a decent audio listening experience.  Additionally, Alexa will assist you on the way.

Performance:

Amazon Fire tablets are known for their affordability, but they still perform well compared to alternatives. The same quality we saw in this newest model.

It has 4 GB of RAM that combined with 2Ghz octa-core delivers outstanding performance. Opening multiple tabs will not bog down its speed though.

In our testing, the battery lasted for at most 12 hours of continuous usage, but the standby time was in days. Still, the range is not constant since timing drops when running ultra-graphic apps or playing high-end games because the device is overloaded.

Some downsides we noticed, firstly it takes around 4 hours to the full-charge battery. That’s when you put the device off. If you keep using it while the charger is plugged in, the bars barely move up.  Additionally, it doesn’t support all Google play store apps. The majority are subscription-based. Due to the fact that fire OS is semi-Android.

Connectivity:

The slate boasts the newest wireless technology: wifi and Bluetooth both. Taking ports into account there are 2 ports available. For plugging headphones a 3.5mm, and a USB-C type for charging. Nonetheless, the exact plus model supports wireless charging too.

Best for:

A biased opinion- I really recommend Fire tablets to people looking for an affordable yet modernist-features who’re not really a fan of android. They’re well-made for purposes like streaming videos, reading, playing games, and various other regular tasks.

Their products do not appeal to professional content creators nor enthused gamers.

Lenovo Yoga Tab 3- Best Battery Life

Specifications-

  • Processor: 1.3 GHz
  • RAM: 2 GB
  • Storage: 16 GB
  • Battery-life:15 hours
  • Resolution: 1280×800 Pixels
  • Camera: 8 MP 180° rotatable camera
  • Display size: 8 inches LCD
  • OS: Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • Price- $169-212

Pros-

  • Unique, functional design.
  • MicroSD slot.
  • Good camera.
  • Long battery life.
  • Affordable

Cons-

  • Outdated.
  • Heavy.
  • Review:

The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 is a tablet with an old Android operating system Lollipop. It has 1GB of RAM and only 16 GB of internal storage space for all your media needs- seems quite low though that’s why it often slows down when opening multiple apps, even browsing on multiple pages bog it down.

Performance:

The processor isn’t fast enough to be used in multitasking, but it’s sufficient for getting basic tasks done on the go.

Finally I would say to everyone looking to purchase this device: it is better to keep this tablet as a simple, portable device which brings fun in your spare time. With its long battery life, the device can keep you entertained for several hours on one charge.

Connectivity:

The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 also includes three ports: Micro USB 2.0 Port with Charging, A slot for micro SD card and headphone jack 3mm

Best for:

As you can see, Lenovo yoga tab 3 is one the cheapest devices functioning as a tablet so lacking many features should not be minded here.

The tab is only good if you want nothing but a device to read, watch YouTube or Netflix, or let your kids play games such as angry birds or bubble slash.
