List of Best Emulators for low end PC

Here are the best emulators for low-end PC, personally tried them on my low-end PC i3 3rd gen.

I’ve personally reviewed these best android emulators on my low-end PC as well as Laptop which only has 2GB of RAM, while playing high-end games like Pubg mobile, free fire, COD, and many high-end games.

So how do we decide the best emulator for a lower end machine?

So simple.

Any emulator which does not eat more resources of your machine. Instead it provides more boost to the gaming performance which is something you need for a better gaming. Here the resources means, RAM, SSD, CPU and if you have GPU then it’s also included.

Here are the top listed emulators for low-end systems.

1. LDPlayer

  • Minimum 2GB of RAM.
  • Minimum 36GB of the hard disk.
  • Compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10.

LD player is the top pick on our list, not much popular as it’s new on the market and specially designed for low-end computers that are rare to find these days.

Because most of the emulators are centroid upon the high-end performances, with every update they take one step ahead of than before.

The reason is simple to grasp. That is, it does not put a heavy load on a PC so the power supply coming out from the GPU is never overused, and heated.

The games can be played with a mouse and keyboard support, feature a key mapping option that comes to use while mapping keys for specific games; making a game more customized.

The interface is entirely significant to gamers. Shortcuts keys over the right-side make this even simpler to get to know everything featured up there.

Use the APK shortcut key to install an apk on it, take a screenshot with just one click, and install games that are never easy before this emulator.

All you have to do is open it up and browse the games showing right on your screen. Even though you don’t need to log in, create an account there to install any of them.

It has a personal app store similar to google play store with a couple of games, apps listed there.

However, if you didn’t find an app there, there will be an option to quickly visit your google play store account. And get the game you want

2. NOX player

  • Minimum 2 GB of RAM.
  • Minimum 1.5 of the hard disk.
  • Compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10 and MAC.

To be honest, here, the Nox player emulator consumes a few resources of a PC, so you should second this on the list after the LD player. To that end, we can say that it works better on the computer having RAM above 3GB.

Although the minimum requirement is lower than that we’ve mentioned.

Generally, we’re assuming a higher performance. It’s said about emulators, and games that we play on them.

A computer’s specifications always come first, only overpassing the minimum requirements doesn’t mean we expect it to deliver us maximum output possible.

Obviously, it’s not a great choice to run high-end games for long run because it has the older android version; KitKat.

NOX Player is not compatible with high-quality games yet for running other android programs on your outdated PC, it works better for that purpose.

Lastly, I confess here it is not the best choice, but still, up to some extent, it has use cases that may benefit some to a great degree.

3. MEmu Play

  • Minimum 2 GB of RAM.
  • Minimum 5 GB of the hard disk.
  • Compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10.

Choosing MEmu player is a clever decision and I recommend it to most people who have a low-end computer.

It is lightweight and to play some high-quality android games, it’s the top rival of its alternative.

Every single spotlight that you look for in an emulator, you will find well-reserve there.

For instance, drag and drop apk files to easily configure them, installing android programs from the google play store, keyboard mapping, and plenty of others.

The best part always comes at last, so if you want to access an app that’s required, the root. Then you don’t need to mess up with your android phone for this.

Use this emulator root mode instead, it wouldn’t take you a longer amount of time and is easy to process.

4. Smart Gaga Lite

  • Minimum 2 GB of RAM.
  • Minimum 6  of the hard disk.
  • Compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10.
  • Graphics card OpenGL 2.1
  • Size: 1GB

Before I throw any words on the smart gaga lite emulator, there is something you should know first.

It had another version a few months before, generally doing well so far, and many people seemed to be addicted to this.

However, Mysteriously, the people’s gaming account had started getting blocked for no reason. I found myself lucky enough because my friend tried to force me to use this one.

And now I’m glad I didn’t listen to them.

It was the past story about this emulator that also has been removed from the official website.

Moving on to Smart Gaga Lite, which is also new onto the market.

I installed it on my computer just to look around the feature and interface. What I saw can be defined by saying that.

It was okay, and nothing was out of the box.

However, when I moved on to checking out its performance while playing games like free fire. It was a terrible experience. It didn’t let me install the game.

It tried to figure it out to somehow configure it, and nothing worked for free fire.

I gave up thinking it was useless, just before installing it, as I really wanted to see its performance.

I tried several apps, including WhatsApp, WeChat, discord, and similar apps. Interestingly I didn’t experience lagging, even frame skipping, which is typical for me when I use other emulators.

Despite the fact, Smart Gaga lite is not the best emulator for playing games like free fire, pub mobile.

It performs well on low-end PCs, so if your intentions are not to play games, turn your old PC into an android to operate android apps. At that moment, it is not less than its alternatives.

5. MSI Emulator

  • Minimum 2 GB of RAM.
  • Minimum 5GB of the hard disk.
  • Compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10.
  • Graphics card OpenGL 2.1 intel.

MSI emulator is leading a huge fan base working flawlessly for the past few years.

One of the emulators that run faster on low-end computers, distinguished as the lightweight version of Bluestacks emulator because the recent update of Bluestack has added so much additional stuff out of the box.

MSI emulator features everything in the box that is needed for an emulator. For instance, keyboard mapping, installing apk, and such useful features are the first needs.

The performance is crossing the limits, but that’s to say your PC specs should be more than its minimum requirement in order to get a smooth gaming experience.

That means this emulator’s performance can vary from lowest to highest depending on the specs. The higher specs the smoother it will be. So running it on an average system is ideal/

However, I’ve tested out its gaming performance on my 4GB RAM laptop, needless to say, it actually outperforms so-called other low-end emulators.

But to be honest, I have got an average machine so for me, its performance was the same as I’d expected it to be.

The conclusion part will be tricky to discuss here. However, so far what I personally think about this emulator is that it is not the best choice out there for 2GB ram devices.
