Step-3 Adjust Power Save Settings

Step-4 PS4 Activation As Your Primary System 

Go to ‘Settings’, hit ‘PlayStation Network/Account Management’, and activate your PS4 As your primary system.

Step-5 Download Remote Play On Your Mac

To do so, open https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/lang/gb/index.html in your browser.

As you can see below, two options will be given. Click on ‘Mac’ to download the Remote Play app.

Step-6 Launch The Installer 

  • Once downloaded, click on ‘Continue’ > ‘Continue’ > ‘Agree’ > ‘Enter Your Password’, then hit ‘Install’. All done?

  • Now open the Remote Play App and click on ‘Start’ to begin connecting DualShock 4 controller to your Mac with USB.

  • You will be asked to sign in with your PS account. Put in the details and go ahead. Don’t worry if it takes some time to connect your PS4.

If it is not connected automatically, go to the ‘Settings’ > ‘Remote Play Connection Settings’. 

Add device and you will be given a code. Note that and hit the ‘Start’ button to connect to your PS4. 

Put in the code when asked. 

The Remote Play app has now been connected to your PS4. It may take some time, depends upon the internet connection. 

Step- 7 Specify The Frame Rate And Resolution

  • Open the Remote Play app and go to the ‘Settings’ > Preferences in the drop-down menu and choose the video quality between 360p, 540p, and 720p at a frame rate of 30 fps (standard) or 60 fps (high).
